USB group says iTunes can block Pre

Apple now has the support of a USB industry standards group in its battle to keep the Palm Pre from using the iTunes music service.The USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) said in a statement Tuesday that Apple can block the Pre from connecting to iTunes. BANGALORE (Reuters) – Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd has launched a generic version of Novartis’ diabetes fighter in the United States, a spokesman for the Indian drugmaker said on Monday, sending its shares up 1.7 percent in a weak market. The company had received U.S. regulatory approval last week for nateglinide, a copycat version of Starlix, he said, but declined to give details. Facebook Releases The Twitter Exporter Tool

This evening Facebook has announced the launch of the “Twitter exporter tool” for Facebook Page administrators. As Jaime Schopflin Hall highlights in an email to the press, “the tool allows Facebook Page administrators to automatically syndicate content and information they publish on Facebook to Twitter without leaving Facebook.com”. This tool was previously tested out and spotted via a Twitter update by Blake Ross, a Facebook employee, but then was later removed.

According to analytics company Compete.com, Facebook has posted another month of growth, reaching over 122 million monthly U.S. visitors. Also interesting is that MySpace appears to have attracted more users to their site than at any point in the past 11 months.
