Essel Group ropes in Atul Pande as CEO, sports business

Essel Group has roped in Atul Pande as the chief executive officer (CEO) of its sports business. Pande will oversee Essel Sports Business – Indian Cricket League (ICL), Mumbai Football Club, All Sports Magazine, all new initiatives and the broadcasting business, which comprises Zee Sports and Ten Sports.Pande will report to the group’s chairman, Subhash Chandra for Essel Sports Business and Punit Goenka, CEO, ZEEL for the broadcasting business. Apple Tablet May Launch in September

 
Much has been said about the rumored Apple Tablet but this is the first time we’re saying that this device could probably replace the Apple TV.
If rumor is true, the Apple Tablet or the iPad could make a breakthrough in the digital tablet industry. It could feature the iPhone apps and just make them larger or not. It could also be a media center extender.

Ex-Facebook COO, Owen Van Natta, Becomes CEO Of MySpace

Today MySpace has annoucned that Owen Van Natta, the ex-Chief Operating Officer of Facebook has been appointed the role of MySpace Chief Executive Officer. It’s approximately a year and two months after leaving Facebook and one has to wonder, did Owen Van Natta have a non-compete?
