I hear often that it is hard to practice/demo voice related configurations with GNS3. This is only partially true.
It is correct that GNS3 cannot substitute Multiservice routers like 28xx etc because the DSP resources cannot be emulated. For using T1/E1 or FXS/FXO connections you need the real hardware interfaces and of course another PBX/router interface to connect your T1 to. If you have a double T1 you could use a T1 x-over to let the router do both ends.
For all other configurations like Dial-peers, translation patterns, SIP-UA configurations, CME, ephone registrations, CUBE etc, GNS3 can do the job. Just an example…

Scrappage scheme extension could increase demand for car loans
Carmakers have called for governments across Europe to extend the car scrappage schemes that have helped to increase new car sales, according to the BBC.A number of major economies introduced scrappage schemes as an incentive for motorists to replace their old vehicles with brand-new ones, boosting sales for the struggling industry. But car manufacturers are concerned that when these schemes come to an end, sales could fall once again. An extension to the scheme would also give an extra boost to the car finance industry, which helps many people buy the new cars they may otherwise be unable to afford.A car…

Screen Printing
Screen printing is a technique in which the ink is directly applied to the surface that is to be printed and this surface is called substrate. The image that is to be printed is transferred photographically to the screen in such a way that the areas not be printed is blocked and the fabric is used as a stencil. A roller moves across the screen stencil, pumping ink over the threads of the woven net in the open areas.
Silk screening or serigraphy also involves screen printing. In this, the stencil method of the print making imposes a design on…
Despite Passing On iLike, Facebook Appears Still Interested In Music
Just last week we wrote about the MySpace acquisition of iLike and this week it appears that some form of agreement between Facebook and Spotify is in the works according to Techcrunch. The rumor is based on a status update by Mark Zuckerberg in which he simply stated “Spotify is so good.” While Mark may be a victim to the classic “shiny object syndrome” found in much of Silicon Valley, he probably wouldn’t have written the update had something not been in the works.
Whether or not discussions or near the final stages, Spotify is most definitely an interesting product…

In Europe, formotorcycle clothing to be lawfully sold as ’safety clothing, ithas to pass a series of European standards, which are prettylengthy but are available on my website. The standards cover theclothing’s performance in abrasion, tearing and impact tests, and when they have passed; they are sold with the CE mark. However, no such regulation is available in the USA, so whatshould you look for?Protection in the right places’Not many people realise that most motorcycle injuries…

HTC Smartphones Vulnerable
If you own a mobile phone made by HTC and connect using Bluetooth, there’s a decent chance security researcher Alberto Moreno Tablado can rummage through sensitive files stored on the device using a critical bug in some of its wireless device features.
The directory traversal flaw resides in the File Transfer Profile (OBEX FTP) service that’s built in to the Bluetooth stack implemented by HTC, Tablado writes here. It allows an attacker to move from a phone’s Bluetooth shared folder into other folders and affects HTC handsets running versions 6 and 6.1 of the Microsoft Mobile operating system.
“Microsoft…
