WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A key group of U.S. senators was “very close” to agreement on healthcare reform, one of its members said on Sunday, suggesting Congress was nearer to meeting President Barack Obama’s goal of passing a reform bill this year. “We think we are very close to an agreement,” said Senator Kent Conrad, chairman of the Senate Budget Committee and part of the “Gang of Six” bipartisan group that is trying to forge consensus, on “Fox News Sunday.” Lawmakers have struggled to find common ground in the debate over healthcare reform, hampering Obama’s efforts to push through his…

Guidelines For Filing Bankruptcy
Bankruptcy is seen by most people as the end of everything when in fact it is the opposite. Bankruptcy is, and was designed as, a beginning. We’ve Upgraded The AllFacebook Statistics Area
As I mentioned when I was rolling out the new AllFacebook design a week or two ago, I’ve been upgrading the statistics tools on this site after crashing some of our servers. Over the past few weeks I’ve been upgrading the database and reprogramming some of the tools so that they’re more efficiently structured. Today we’re pushing out the upgraded versions of the app tracker and page tracker which has been down for the past few weeks. You’ll notice that it looks just like before except that it’s integrated into the new layout.
The primary difference between the previous iteration…

Facebook Testing Out Feed Story Feedback Feature
Facebook is the process of testing out a new feedback feature with feed stories. The new feature, which is practically identical to comments, let’s you provide feedback to various users. Why would you want to differentiate between comments and feedback? You probably wouldn’t but as Eric Eldon pointed out back in April, Facebook is testing out credits integrated with feed items. One story after the other is pointing toward a soon to be released credits system within Facebook.
Just today Eric Eldon posted again about a slight change to Facebook’s credit system. Apparently Facebook is switching the cost of gifts…
Facebook Launches Developer Feedback Center
This afternoon Facebook announced the launch of a new feedback center for developers where new ideas can be submitted and voted on. The point is to get feedback from developers on where documentation needs to be expanded. Facebook already has extensive documentation via their developer wiki but this new system will enable developers to provide feedback on what documentation gets priority.
Many times Facebook will launch new features or update specific platform libraries but won’t provide a great level of documentation. So far it doesn’t appear as though developers are using the new feature correctly. Instead, many developers are submitting…
The 411 on the 502
As many of you know, since becoming a part of Google in June of 2007, the FeedBurner team has been hard at work transforming FeedBurner into a service that uses the same underlying architecture as many other Google applications, running in the same high-volume datacenters.
