I don’t usually have a quote of the day but I’ve finished reading “Ready for Anything” by David Allen. If you are not familiar with David Allen he is basically an Efficiency coach. He wrote a book called “Getting Things Done” which I read about 14 months ago. I really enjoyed that book and it helped to break up the monotony of my CCIE study. Because of that I decided to read his other book in my spare time.
At any rate, the point is that I came across this quote in there that made me re-think how I have…

Mobitel Launches Facebook Television Ad Campaign
This morning I stumbled across an interesting video of a Sri Lankan television ad in which Mobitel is promoting their new service which provides Facebook support. Interestingly enough it doesn’t appear that Mobitel is offering anything unique in that it simply integrates through Facebook’s mobile interface. I couldn’t tell you if Facebook was invested in this campaign or not but it appears that Mobitel is not the largest mobile provider in Sri Lanka.
Currently Facebook has over 220,000 users in Sri Lanka, which has a population of around 20 million. The style of the ad is pretty interesting in that…
Map the self
In modern era of industrial life, people exploit their utmost strength & resource to keep pace with dynamic society of
interdependency. In city life, most persons overload themselves with the multitasks to complete them in deadline set. Thus work turns to be stressful for them. The popular remedies like meditation/yoga do not yield expected results as adequate time is not spared.
Medication are not from their side effects. I recommend blogging as an alternate method to try out.

Cisco Validated Designs: The Integrated Network
Amazon Kindle App for iPhone
Some time back I purchased a 1st generation Amazon Kindle. I really liked it. While I owned it I bought 5 Cisco Press books, including Network Security Principles and Practices. There was some talk about Internetwork Expert releasing their workbooks for the kindle, and I actually had some email correspondence where I was told I could be a beta tester. Well that never happened, and although IE announced that the kindle version was coming soon I think they kinda just dropped the thought and changed directions. It probably had something to do with how difficult Amazon makes it to add…
